After weathering the trials of the recent race weekend at Road America, Hix Racing's duo of Ron Hix and Brian Blume bounce back strong at the latest CCS round at Blackhawk Farms with 4 podium finishes and consistent lap times in 1:10's.

After putting the Hix Racing Hawkeye Superbike on the 4th row of the grid at the latest AMA round at Road America, Ron Hix took a pair of 13th place finishes in the American Superbike race 1 and race 2. This represented a big step forward for the team with last year's AMA Road America round being the first ever AMA round for the team. At last year's round, the team qualifying 23rd and finishing 20th and 18th in the double header weekend.

"We were really happy with our results this weekend" commented Ron Hix, "the whole team worked hard to get the bikes ready and sponsors Vesrah Suzuki and Ohlins USA both went beyond the call of duty to help us get our lap times into the 19's."

Hix Racing's first race weekend of the season was highlighted by a win in the Team Challenge GTO class at Blackhawk Farms. Road Racingworld wrote, "For the GTO class it was a repeat win at Blackhawk Farms for the Hix Racing Team with Ron Hix and Alan Feddersen on their Suzuki 1000 with a 3 lap advantage". The team's leader rider, Ron Hix, also brought home 4 podium finishes in the Unlimited class races.

Several new partners have joined Hix Racing for the 2010 season. In addition, to the team's title sponsor Hawkeye Superbikes, the team would also like to welcome the Trackday Store which officially launched on Friday, 3/5/10. Vesrah has also come aboard this year and will be supporting the team with their awesome line of brake pads. And last but not least, the team is proud to partnering with Ayden Lee this season. Ayden Lee is a company that has recently brought an impressive lineup of custom and off-the-rack racing leathers to market - and is owned by one of our own NESBA control riders!
